Poker 'The Poker Brat' Hellmuth: Future Legends

Phil "The Poker Brat" Hellmuth is a person whose sometimes bizarre behavior is only overshadowed by his consistently amazing performances at poker tournaments. Phil Hellmuth is the eponymous bad boy poker player and the hard working winner of eleven World Series of Poker tables and thus, the owner of the same number of bracelets. No matter what bizarre behavior or action he does next, the smart player never forgets that to win one World Series of Poker bracelet is amazing - eleven is legendary.

The World Series of Poker would be his playground in 1989 and it would be when the Poker Brat would rise to true and astounding prominence. Phil Hellmuth would quickly become the youngest player to ever win the Texas Hold'em main event at the World Series of Poker at the young and fresh age of 24, an act that would be punctuated as he would do so by beating Johnny Chan. It would be over a decade before anyone would even come close to breaking the record.

In a No Limit Texas Hold'em event in 2006, Phil Hellmuth would earn in tenth bracelet. As Texas Hold'em has become the most famous and main poker variant for many tournaments around the United States, the Poker Brat decided to focus his skills on it, sharpening them into a powerful tool. His skills were so sharp that Phil Hellmuth would actually earn each and every one of his bracelets through victories at this community card game. He isn't only the person with the most bracelets, but he's also earned the most cash finishes at the World Series of Poker and has also had the honor of appearing at the final tables at the World Series of Poker more times than anybody else. He is also among the top five people who have earned the most money at Texas Hold'em, with earnings and winnings well over five million dollars.

Phil Hellmuth has always been a dominant force at the World Series of Poker, though the World Poker Tour is not as fertile a ground for him. He has, so far, consistently failed to win the tournament though he has at least managed to approximately a million dollars at the World Poker Tour.

The Poker Brat's fame is derived from two things, the first of which are his poker skills. The second is for his sharp cutting motor-mouth. There is perhaps no other person in the world that fits the bad boy image as well as he does.
